Sample Job Duties
Guest service
drivers are responsible for inspecting their vehicle prior to
departure, cleaning, fueling and conducting an additional
inspection of the vehicle upon completion of the work day.
Additionally, guest service drivers pick up and transport guests
and their luggage from various pickup locations to a variety of
drop-off points, including major airports located in Denver and
Eagle County, Colorado.

Schedule/Shifts
The
average full-time seasonal guest service driver will work up
to 15-hour days and 60 hours per week. The guest
service driver position is very time-intensive. Guest
service drivers earning upwards of $2,500 per month may be
required to work up to 70 hours per week. Shifts begin at
4:30am and vary after that throughout the day. The Federal
Government limits a guest service driver's total on-duty
time to 70 hours in eight consecutive days.

VISAS – must be able to work through April 15, 2008
The fee for H2B Visa is $625. You are required to submit at
$300 down payment at the time you submit your application
for employment. The remaining $325 will be deducted from
your paychecks.
Wage & Benefit Information

Wages
The earnings potential for this position is from $2,000
to $2,500 per month, depending on the number of hours a
guest service driver works. Monthly wages and gratuities
fluctuate depending on the seasonality of the business.

End of Season Bonus
The bonus period is from November 12, 2007 through April 13,
2008. The bonus calculation is up to 10% of your run pay.
Five percent (5%) of this bonus is based on safety
requirements of the position and the remaining five percent
(5%) is based on your commitment to work through April 6,
2008

Ski Pass
Program
A
reduced retail rate ski pass can be financed through CME. It
requires a $300 deposit to be paid in advance. The remaining
balance will be deducted from your paychecks.

Housing
All housing is off-site. A security deposit of $300 and a
partial first month's rent payment of $300, for a total of
$600 is required to
guarantee CME housing. Monthly rent ranges from $525 to $675
per month for an individual room. All utilities are included
with the exception of telephone and internet service, which
is the responsibility of the tenant.

Transportation
Free transportation is provided from your housing unit to
the CME office location, if you are in CME housing.

Discounts/Employee Services
Employees receive free shuttle transportation to and from
Denver International Airport. Relatives of guest service
drivers receive a 75% discount and friends of the guest
service driver receive a 50% discount.

Uniforms
CME provides a uniform consisting of shirts, vest, jacket
and hat. The uniform, with the exception of shirts, must be
returned to CME at the end of the season. The guest service
driver is responsible for providing black trousers and black
shoes acceptable to management.

Vacation/Time
Off
There will be NO vacations available during the ski
season. Requests for individual days off, other than normal
scheduled time off, must be submitted to the guest service
driver's team leader eight (8) days prior to the requested
time off.

Paid Training
Paid training consists of in classroom and outside the
classroom time that will last between 5 and 8 days. The
first training class will begin in early November and the
last training class will start the second week of December.

In
order to fill out the driver application you will need:
- 36
consecutive months of job history, if you have a
Commercial Driver's license you will need 120
consecutive months of job history.
- 60
consecutive months of physical address history
You
will need to explain every month, no gaps. If you were
traveling or unemployed, mark those dates accordingly.
If you are not prepared to do this, please do not fill
out the application until you are. Please note, you will
be required to provide a motor vehicle record (a
background check of your driving history from your
governing body.)

International applicant must possess a valid drivers
license from their respective country in addition to a
valid International driving permit
- Must provide a
copy of their motor vehicle record or list of traffic
offenses which is not more than 30 days old from the
application date
- Must
have a motor vehicle record or list of traffic
convictions acceptable to managements

Convictions for driving while intoxicated, driving
under influence of alcohol, or use of
non-prescription drugs, careless driving or reckless
driving may disqualify the applicant
- Must be
able to lift up to 100 pounds (45 kilograms)
- Will be
subject to pre-employment, random and post accident
drug and alcohol testing
- Must
successfully complete CME's Driver Training program
- Must be
able to commit to a 120-day season
- Must
pass a US Department of Transportation physical
examination
- Will
be exposed to outside weather conditions including
heavy snow and extreme cold temperatures
